Moisture mulch
Description: Also known as Bush Compost at our Ashwood store, this is a recycled product produced from collected kerbside greenwaste. It has been composted to be weed free, screened to a fine size and the composting process has transformed this product to a rich dark colour. This product is an excellent soil conditioner.
Usage: This product is suitable for use in garden beds. Dig it into your topsoil, to:
- Increase organic matter levels
- Improve soil moisture retention and improve soil moisture availability
- Improve the physical properties of the soil, including its structure, friability and permeability
- Enhance soil microbiology and encourage worms
- Enhance overall soil health by allowing greater aeration
- Reduce soil compaction
- Reduce soil erosion from wind and water
