Eucamulch

Description: Eucamulch is a byproduct of the timber industry from the eucalyptus tree. It is a fine, honey coloured mulch that is also certified as a softfall for under play equipment. It is produced from the timber of the tree.

Usage: This product is suitable for use in garden beds. When laid on top of the garden at 50-100mm thick, eucamulch:

  • helps to suppress weed growth
  • helps to retain soil moisture by reducing evaporation
  • regulates soil temperature fluctuations to optimise plant growth
  • increases organic matter over time
  • enhances overall soil health

Eucamulch is also suitable for playgrounds. When it is being laid under play equipment, mulch is to be laid 250-300mm thick.
