Moisture mulch
Description: : Also known as Bush Compost at our Ashwood store, this is a recycled product that has been composted to be weed free and screened to remove larger material. The composting process has transformed this product to a rich dark colour.
Usage: This product is suitable for use in garden beds. When laid on top of the garden at 50-100mm thick, bush compost:
- helps to suppress weed growth
- helps to retain soil moisture by reducing evaporation
- regulates soil temperature fluctuations to optimise plant growth
- increases organic matter over time
- enhances overall soil health
