Redgum chips
Description: Redgum Chips is a byproduct of the timber industry. It is 20-40mm, terracotta-red coloured woodchip. This product is not always available please check with your local store for stocks.
Usage: This product is suitable for use in garden beds. When laid on top of the garden at 50-100mm thick, Redgum Chips:
- helps to suppress weed growth
- helps to retain soil moisture by reducing evaporation
- regulates soil temperature fluctuations to optimise plant growth
- increases organic matter over time
- enhances overall soil health
