Refunds & Returns Policy

Thank-you for visiting Daisy’s Garden Supplies. By accessing and using our website or purchasing products from our store, you agree to the following Returns & Refund Policy as well as our Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully prior to making any purchases. Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Cancellation or Changes to Orders
Orders can only be cancelled or changed if the goods have not been dispatched. If goods have been dispatched but not yet delivered (for truck deliveries), a refund, less the delivery fee, will be considered. Special mixes (including stabilised products, split loads, or modified goods) cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances. Requests for order changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing and approved by us to ensure accuracy and minimising errors. It is your responsibility to verify the correct quantities and products before confirming the order.
2. Faulty Goods
Daisy’s Garden Supplies adheres to the consumer guarantees outlined in the Australian Consumer Law. If your product is faulty, we will either repair, replace, or offer a refund, depending on the nature of the fault. Minor faults will be addressed through repair or replacement, while major faults will give you the option of a refund, replacement, or repair.
Please note that natural products such as sand, rocks, soil, toppings, etc., are subject to natural variations in colour, size, and texture. These variations are not considered faults and do not qualify for a refund, replacement, or repair.
If the product is assessed and found to be not faulty, or if the fault is due to misuse or abnormal use, we are not obligated to offer a refund, replacement, or repair. Any external assessments, if required, may incur fees which will be waived if the product is found to be faulty under the ACL.
3. Return Policy
If goods are returned to us in original condition within 30 days (excluding cement products), a refund will be issued, less the cost of delivery or postage. Bulk garden supplies products sold by m3 (such as mulch, soil, pebbles, etc.) are excluded from this refund policy if they have been delivered. Additionally, promotional, sale, clearance, special order items, and special mixes (including stabilised products, split loads, or modified goods) are not eligible for a refund.
Cement products can only be returned within 7 days of purchase, provided they are in their original condition and accompanied by a receipt or invoice. Returns must be made to the store of purchase for inspection. Bags that have been left outside, uncovered, or exposed to moisture are not eligible for return, as they may no longer be fit for use. Store discretion applies to all cement product returns.

Refunds will be processed using the same method as the original payment (e.g., credit card refunds will be credited to the same card). Refunds will not be issued without proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
4. Proof of Purchase
For
returns or exchanges, a valid proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is
required, including the purchase date, price, store, and product details.
5. Change of Mind
Daisy’s Garden Supplies will accept exchanges of unused products within 30 days, provided the item is in original, resaleable condition. This applies only to products purchased in store or online, excluding garden supplies sold by the meter. Please note that the “change of mind” policy does not apply to:
- Garden supplies sold by the metre (e.g., mulch, soil, pebbles)
- Promotional or sale items
- Special order products
- Spare parts
- Items not typically stocked
Additionally, returns are not accepted under the following
circumstances:
- You ordered the wrong product.
- You simply decide that you no longer like the product after purchase.
- You found the product cheaper elsewhere.
- You found a better product elsewhere.
- You were aware of a fault before purchasing.
- The product was damaged due to misuse.
- The product has been used for a long time and shows usual wear and tear.
6. Refunds
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Shipping costs incurred to send your item back will be deducted from the refund amount. Returns must be received within 14 days of return approval. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser, unless stated otherwise.
Please note: any damage that occurs during transit when returning the item will be your responsibility. This may result in a reduced refund to account for the inability to resell the returned goods. It is recommended that you take a photo of your return shipment for comparison upon receipt.
Return shipping charges are non-refundable, including the original postage and handling charges of your initial order.
