      Bag Weight: 20kg

      A light, grey coloured sand and is used when a light coloured mortar is desired*. The main use for this sand is for mortaring brickwork. The standard blend for mortar is 6 parts sand to 1 part cement and 1 part hydrated lime. 1 cubic metre of sand will be enough to lay 1,000 bricks and will require 8-10 bags of cement. Brick sand is also the sand used under pool liners for above ground pools.

      *Please note, sand colour can vary from time to time, affecting the colour of mortar.
