Playsafe Mulch is a graded, cream coloured wood chip. It is certified as softfall mulch and is suitable for use under playground equipment when laid at the correct depth (minimum depth of 300mm). It can also be used as a mulch in the garden. Playsafe Mulch is available in two distinct varieties that differ in shape and colour. One variety is darker and 'Chip' shaped, while the other is slightly lighter and 'Matchstick' shaped (see image gallery). This mulch:

- reduces the risk of injuries from falls in play areas

Garden mulch is generally laid 50-100mm thick. Softfall mulch must be laid at a minimum depth of 300mm.
