Daisy's Grey Brick Sand comes in a convenient 20kg bag. It is a light, grey coloured sand used when a light coloured mortar is desired, with its main use being the mortaring of brickwork. The standard blend for mortar is 6 parts sand to 1 part cement and 1 part hydrated lime. One cubic metre of sand is enough to lay around 1,000 bricks and will require 8 to 10 bags of cement. Grey brick sand is also the sand used under pool liners for above ground pools. The 20kg bag is easy to carry, store, and spread, making it ideal for smaller projects and repairs.
