20mm Recycled Concrete is a crushed and screened recycled aggregate used as a compactable road base and sub base under paving, slabs, driveways, and paths. Made from reclaimed concrete that is processed and graded to a nominal 20mm size, it locks together tightly when compacted to form a firm, stable foundation. As an economical and eco friendly alternative to quarried rock, it puts recovered material back to work and helps keep waste out of landfill. It is well suited to filling and levelling before a final surface is laid, creating a solid load bearing layer under slabs, pavers, shed floors, and driveways. Because it is a recycled product, some variation in colour and texture is normal. For best results it should be spread in layers, moistened, and compacted with a plate compactor or roller.
